PARCO DELLE RIMEMBRANZE e CHIESA DEL SANTISSIMO SACRAMENTO

In the center of the "plot", at least 800 years old, is the 3rd monument to the memory of the 117 fallen resulting in the end of World War II. The gilded bronze sculpture of the Florentine artist Antonio Berti, replaced in 1982 the two previous works and is the Archangel Saint Michael raises a sword, symbol of the struggle against evil and condemnation of the war. At the back of '"Archangel" is the ancient stone rose window, the only evidence of the ancient chapel of the Blessed Sacrament, making today part of the premises used for hospitality from the Monastery of St. Mary of the Snow.
