Al primo piano viene spiegata la storia della presenza dei Conti Guidi nel castello, tra ceramiche ed oggetti databili tra XI e XV secolo e con il supporto di un plastico ricostruttivo e di una recentissima nuova pannellonistica. Al secondo piano, infine, si colloca il cosiddetto Salone di Dante, spazio polivalente e mutevole, in cui vengono organizzati convegni, incontri e laboratori didattici per bambini.
