Centro del paese e' Piazza, oggi dedicata a Paolo. La piazza fu costruita nel '700 per permettere la realizzazione del mercato fuori porta (la porta si trovava all'inizio dell'attuale via Garibaldi).
Quando furono erette le prime abitazioni lungo la piazza, fu imposta l'edificazione del porticato per permettere lo svolgimento del mercato in caso di pioggia.
