L’energia elettrica per alimentare

L’energia elettrica per alimentare il sistema è garantita appunto dalle fuel cell, con autonomie che raggiungono le 96 ore di lavoro continuo. Questa caratteristica è stata molto apprezzata in ambito militare, in quanto poteva permetterne l’impiego in operazioni di notevole durata. Da qui negli ultimi anni sono stati sviluppati altri modelli di “Super Soldato” come il “RAYTHEON/SARCOS XOS 2”, con un impiego delle fuel cell più massivo rispetto al sistema precedente.
